Hope Doncaster

Empowering young people to show God's love in practical ways

Young people today have a desire to make a difference in the world.

In April 2018 five teenagers from a church in Doncaster gave up a week of their Easter holidays to serve at Hope Bristol with The Noise. They learnt to show God’s love in practical ways by working in communities across Bristol; to help the elderly, tidy up local parks and centres, run family fun mornings, youth sessions and plenty more. They also had the chance to share God’s love with people by offering to pray for them and share words from God. Since then, these five young people have returned to Doncaster with a desire to see something similar happen in our own town.

So we’re making it happen with the first Hope Doncaster event coming:

Friday 3rd – Sunday 5th May 2019

Empowering Young People

We want to empower young people from local youth groups to make a change and to provide opportunities for them to serve and to grow.

Impacting Communities

Our desire is to show God’s love in practical ways to people, communities and businesses.

Working in Unity

We are seeking to work together with church, commercial, civic and community leaders to bring HOPE to Doncaster.

“I’ve done mission abroad a few times, but never a trip in this country. Going to Hope Bristol encouraged me that we can show God’s love exactly where we are and bless the communities we live in. I’m really looking forward to Hope Doncaster this year.”
